BOOK DESCRIPTION

KIT AND FANCY CORDELLE ARE SISTERS OF THE BEST KIND: BEST FRIENDS< BEST CONFIDANTES< AND BEST ACCOMPLICES. The daughters of the infamous Bonesaw Killer, Kit and Fancy are used to feeling like outsiders, and that's just the way the like it. But in Portero, where the weird and wild run rampant, the Cordelle sisters are hardly the oddest or most dangerous creatures around.

It's no surprise when Kit and Fancy start to give in to their deepest desires- the desire to kill. What starts as a fascination with slicing open and stitching up quickly spirals into a gratifying murder spree. Of course, the sisters aren't killing just anyone, only the people who truly deserve it. But the girls have learned from their father's mistakes and know that a shred of evidence could get them caught. So when Fancy stumbles upon a mysterious and invisible doorway to another world, she opens a door to endless possibilities....

REVIEW:

Okay, so last time I did my review, which was one for Ink Exchange by Melissa Marr, I showed you guys a drawing that I did long time ago, that reminded me of one of the characters in the book. (Bananach to be exact.) So it got me thinking, that I have art skill, not the greatest ones, but good enough that I want to combine them with something that I also love a lot. And that's books, in other words, from now and hopefully as I go, I will try to draw a picture for a book I'm doing a review on. I'm not saying this is going to be for every book, because drawings take a while to make, and I kinda read really fast, and I really like to write my reviews as soonest I finish a book, so it won't be for every book.
Now with that said, I want to share another obsession of mine and that's "DIA REEVES" I love her. She's one of my favorite authors of all time, and from the moment I read Bleeding Violet, I feel in love with her writing, so when I heard that she was releasing her second novel into the Portero series, I went quickly and bought the pre-order the book. I have read this book, before, and I recently re-read the book to do this review, and also draw a especial picture of the Cordelle sisters, Kit and Fancy. I did this picture trying to bring the magic of Dia's words into the drawing, and I hope you guys like it.
I love this two sisters, I love the passion, the desire, and the twisted mind they share. The way that Dia made their personalities was amazing, I love the funny-twisted minds and ideas that ran through Fancy and Kit. Their love for each other is strong, and powerful, and even though I never had a sister or brother, I feel as if I know the connection of relatives between this two. Heck, I wouldn't even mind to have them as sisters, 'cuz I do have some people, or should I say Trancies I will like to get read off. Okay not really, or do I.
Oh, and did I mention, Hanna made a cameo into the book, and I screamed. Yes, I literally scream. I miss Hanna, and I will love to know what's going on the twisted mind of her own, but I didn't mind joining Kit and Fancy happy world.
Also, now that I'm talking about happy things. I want to say that Dia Reeves is not afraid to show the sexuality, in the Young Adult Genre, and that's a lot BALL for the lack of a better word, because I can imagine how many people will object to that. Not that murdering people will throw people off either, but either way I love her writing, and I like the bold, and magical and disturbing mind that she has. And just one note, can anyone take this two books to TIM BURTON, because both of this minds should really come together into one. Now that will me an amazing movie to watch.

FAVORITE QUOTES:
"It's not about being saints or sinners or good or bad, Fancy. It's about being both. You know? About being complete." (Slice of Cherry by Dia Reeves pg 264)

Book Trailer:
There's no book trailer for this book, but here's an amazing song my Louis Armstrong. One of Fancy's favorite musicians. Oh and yeah, What a Wonderful World!!
